Axel Borgmo is the composer and arranger for Castle Hill's music.
He grew up in Norway and cut his teeth to guitar and music production at a young age. He has been living in New York since 2014 and graduated from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in May 2018. Having been a part of the music scene in both Norway and New York, studied with Gilad Hekselman, Todd Reynolds and Chris Sholar and worked at Platinum Sound Recording Studios, gives him a broad musical range and versatility as a musician and a producer.
Most of Castle Hill is written in a cabin in the mountains of Rjukan in Norway. (Borg=Castle, Mo=Hill in Norwegian)
